Appellate Hogwash?

Today's MetNews has an op-ed Perspectives column, It's Hogwash, addressing a variety of appellate topics, including the idea of more Court of Appeal justices. The column also calls out a few appellate justices as good writers and able jurists, and mentions Justice Beds. Speaking of whom, his most recent column is A Fistful of Mush, about the importance of word processing programs.


Bloomberg Law has Midterms Pressure Senate, Biden on Circuit Court Appointments
A Senate Judiciary Committee Democratic aide, who requested anonymity to speak candidly, expects Biden’s two-year total for circuit confirmations to top 30 at least. That would also tie Biden with Donald Trump for most circuit confirmations in two years. There are 14 circuit nominees already in the pipeline and 11 current or expected circuit vacancies without a pending nominee.
