Justice Stevens program May 2

The Supreme Court of the United States will honor the memory of the late Justice John Paul Stevens on Monday, May 2, with a meeting of the Supreme Court’s Bar, followed by a special sitting of the Court.
The Bar meeting – at 1:45 p.m. in the Upper Great Hall – will feature remarks by the Honorable Elizabeth B. Prelogar, Solicitor General of the United States and a whole bunch of others! Details here.
A Special Session of the Court will be held in the Courtroom at 3 p.m. Solicitor General Prelogar and the Honorable Merrick B. Garland, Attorney General of the United States, will address the Court. Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr., will respond on behalf of the Court.
