At The Lectern points out that the Judicial Council's official Court Statistic Report (which was recently revised) still seems wrong. For instance, the stats say that the Supreme Court granted only 14 petitions for review for the year, whereas At The Lectern has identified 47 grants of review. That's a big difference! Bad data has many negative consequences.
