JNE evaluating Judge Boulware for 3d DCA

 

The State Bar of California's Commission on Judicial Nominees Evaluation (JNE) is investigating the qualifications of Sacramento Superior Court Judge StacyBoulware Eurie for the Third District.

Judge Stacy Boulware Eurie was appointed to the Superior Court of Sacramento County in 2007 by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and has served as presiding judge of its juvenile court since 2010. Before her appointment to the bench, she served in the California Office of the Attorney General. And before starting her career in the public sector, she was an associate attorney in a private criminal defense firm.

Judge Boulware Eurie is currently vice-chair of the Chief Justice's Keeping Kids in School and Out of Court Initiative Steering Committee; served on the Executive Committee of the Commission on the Future of California's Court System; and sits on the California Child Welfare Council. In recent years, Judge Boulware Eurie has served as a volunteer on several council advisory bodies, including the Advisory Committee on Financial Accountability and Efficiency for the Judicial Branch, and the California Blue Ribbon Commission on Children in Foster Care.

She is the Sacramento County Bar Assn's 2020 Judge of the Year. See here
