In Getting to the Truth, today's DJ profiles Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Audra Ibarra, who was an appellate lawyer before taking the bench. She served on the CLA's Committee on Appellate Courts and on the Judicial Council.
- Another role model was California Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye, who’s the first Filipino-American to hold the position. “She inspires me as she champions access to justice,” Ibarra said. “The judiciary is for everyone. Everyone should feel comfortable coming to the courts to right a wrong, irrespective of race, culture, language, socio-economics and geography.”
