Today's MetNews reports that "
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brian M. Hoffstadt and Southwestern Law School Professor Christopher David Ruiz Cameron are being considered for appointment to this district’s Court of Appeal." Judge Hoffstadt has been sitting pro tem with, well, nearly every division it seems. And Professor Cameron has obviously been spending his time highly productively too!
And speaking of productive judicial activities,
"U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor will take center stage among about 1 million revelers in New York's Times Square to usher in 2014 by pressing the button to lower the countdown ball, organizers said on Dec. 29."
