Certification to Cal Supreme Court program

 LACBA's Appellate Courts section presents Ninth Circuit Certification of State Law Issues at noon on Thursday. "M.C. Sungaila of the Buchalter firm will present a program about the Ninth Circuit’s increased use of the procedure for certifying novel issues of state law to the California Supreme Court under California Rules of Court, rule 8.548. The panelists will be California Supreme Court Justice Leondra R. Kruger and Ninth Circuit Judge John B. Owens."
