Next, on page 36, Kate Galston presents Rethinking Legal Writing for an Online Readership, suggesting a number of tips: Include a table of contents, put concise summaries up front, use frequent headings, craft effective topic sentences, pay attention to readability, keep document design simple, avoid footnotes, use bookmarked headings, and include hyperlinks.
