Making, Changing and Researching Legislation
Join us as our distinguished speakers explore the following topics: (1) how an idea becomes a bill and a bill becomes law in the California legislative process; (2) how attorneys can initiate change in existing legislation or propose new legislation through the Conference of California Bar Associations, known as the CCBA; and (3) how to research legislative intent (for free) using material available at law libraries and on-line.
Earn 1.5 hours of MCLE credit which includes 1.5 hours of Appellate Law Specialization Credit.
