Waiting for your case to be called at 4/3 got a little more pleasant recently.
The hard benches in the courtroom now have cushions!
This is a very welcome addition and countless sore derrieres are much appreciative. (Perhaps any extra cushions could be sent to the Ninth Circuit in Pasadena, where they are still sorely needed.)
Score one for the redesign team. But that's not all!
There's also a shiny (very shiny) new seal, which appears to be made of etched glass and is, well, very brightly lit and somewhat reflective.
