"Effective Tuesday, February 17, 2015, all filings in a civil appeal or original proceeding submitted to the Court of Appeal, Fifth Appellate District (5th DCA) must be filed electronically (e-Filed) through the Court's electronic filing system, TrueFiling. The TrueFiling system was developed in partnership with the vendor ImageSoft, Inc. The e-Filing system will allow electronic transmission of all civil documents to the court on a 24-hour basis.
Approximately 30 days thereafter, all filings in criminal and juvenile appeals and original proceedings must be e-Filed in the 5th DCA pursuant to California Rules of Court, rule 8.70."
