Public Council's Directing Attorney - Appellate Law, Lisa Jaskol, will succeed the indefatigable Ben Shatz as Chair of the LA County Bar Association's Appellate Courts Committee. I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa at a dinner last December -- the ACC will be in very good hands. The new vice chair will be Douglas Fee of Collins Collins Muir + Stewart. The incoming secretary is H&L's Brad Pauley -- one of the guiding hands behind the Cal Supreme blog, http://www.atthelectern.com/.
Speaking of the ACC, Ben says that "certain changes" may be forthcoming. We'll keep you posted . . . .
