Snell and Wilmer partner M.C. Sungaila wowed the OCBA Appellate Law Section yesterday with tales from her work vindicating women's rights in the Inter-American Court of Human Rights -- work that crossed distinctions between trial and appeal, advocacy and diplomacy, in the pursuit of justice for harrowing crimes against women that had gone unprosecuted.
