Welcome Justice Detjen!

The Governor appointed Madera Superior Court Judge Jennifer R.S. Detjen to the Fifth District Court of Appeal.

She fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Steven M. Vartabedian. Detjen is a Republican"

Here's the only photo I could find of Judge Detjen.  It shows her (second row, center) at a ceremony honoring the 2001 valedictorians at Yosemite High School.
