The Governor also appointed Jones Day partner/appellate lawyer Brian Hoffstadt to the Los Angeles Superior Court.Judge Hoffstadt clerked for Justice Sandra Day O'Connor and Ninth Circuit Judge Cynthia Holcomb Hall before working at the U.S. DOJ, the FCC, and the U.S. Attorney's Office in Los Angeles.
