Unfortunately, we're finding this problem arising more and more frequently. Just a few months ago, our court issued an opinion referring another lawyer to the Florida Bar for similarly relying on generative artificial intelligence to essentially write his appellate brief without checking the veracity of authorities cited in that brief.
