RIP Fred Hiestand

Today's DJ has an obituary, Fred James Hiestand, 1943-2023 -- Sacramento attorney fought for tort reforms. Fred was the general counsel of the Civil Justice Association of California since its founding in 1979. Over the decades he filed hundreds of amicus briefs in the U.S. Supreme Court, California Supreme Court, and California Court of Appeal.
