Bankruptcy appellate judge in Arizona praised for legal writing skills. "Gan was appointed by the 9th Circuit to a seven-year term on the panel in October 2019. ... Before becoming Judge Gan in 2014, he had an active bankruptcy and appellate law practice in Tucson for nearly 30 years. He is a fellow of the AAAL and spoke at the 2018 meeting on a panel about interlocutory appeals.
