Judge Garnett has served as a Los Angeles Superior Court judge since 2014. In 2016, she was a
justice pro tem for the California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District, Division Seven.
Before her appointment to the bench, she worked in the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the
Central District of California, where she served as chief and deputy chief of the General Crimes
