Petitions for Review: A View from Inside the Supreme Court of California, March 5 at noon.

• Justice Groban and the Deputy Director of the Criminal Central Staff, Jessica Barber, provide their perspectives on what makes a successful petition for review, answer, and reply. Program will be moderated by David Ettinger, of counsel at Horvitz & Levy, LLP and author of At the Lectern, a legal blog about the Supreme Court of California.
• Learn directly from a justice of the California Supreme Court and a member of the central staff about what makes an excellent petition for review, what their role is in reviewing petitions for the Court, and the logistics of a petition as it makes its way through the state’s high court.
