- The U.S. Supreme Court will take the unprecedented step of holding oral arguments by teleconference next month due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, the court said Monday.
- The court postponed its March and April oral argument sessions in recent weeks due to the COVID-19 pandemic, casting uncertainty over its ability to complete its work by the end of the term in July. On Monday, the court announced that it has rescheduled around half of the cases from both of those session for argument by teleconference from May 4 to May 12.
