May Day! It's Law Day!

Take part in L.A.’s National Law Day of Action on May 1st, noon, at the downtown Federal Courthouse Plaza. This event is part of a nationwide effort to support the rule of law.

It's also AAPI Heritage Month and Jewish American Heritage Month, and LACBA Honorees this year include APJ Lui, Justice Mori, and GMSR's Alana Rotter (who's also being honored by LACBA with the Patricia Phillips Outstanding Committee Service Award, at LACBA's Installation and Awards Dinner on June 20, and presenting a BHBA mcle webinar on Post-Judgment Motions: Appellate Lawyers' Perspectives on May 21). And on May 22 at noon, WLALA presents Celebrating 7 Historic Female Firsts on California's Courts of Appeal. Speakers will be Justice Mesiwala, PJ Edmon, Justice Mori, and Deputy Judicial Appointments Secretary Adam Hofmann.
