His distinguished judicial career also includes serving as a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge, where he gained a stellar reputation among plaintiffs’ and defense counsel alike. Recognized with the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Outstanding Jurist Award in 2024, Justice Currey is respected for his balanced decision-making, leadership in judicial education, and commitment to neutrality.
