Today's LA Times reports the death of
Arthur E. Schwimmer "a highly respected appellate attorney [licensed in California and New York] who was renowned for his skilled briefs and arguments at various Courts of Appeal in the State of California and beyond." (Obits., B5.) Art was an early member of the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers. He will be missed by his friends and the appellate community.
