Special Session Honoring Presiding Justice Norman L. Epstein -- This afternoon Presiding Justices Elwood Lui, Frances Rothschild, and Arthur Gilbert presided over a special memorial session of the Court of Appeal honoring the memory of Presiding Justice Norman Epstein in the courtroom downtown at the Ronald Reagan State Building. After the court session a reception was held in the Thaxton Hanson conference room, where attendees could get a good look at the famous 1970s photo of the four muni court judges who would go on to become PJs.
