New director of Capital Central Staff

California Supreme Court Names New Director of Capital Central Staff
The California Supreme Court named Tami Fisher as the new director of its Capital Central Staff. Fisher replaces Steven Rosenberg, who has retired after nine years as director. Current Capital Central Staff member, Elizabeth D’Orazio, will become the staff's assistant director.

On the private side of things, Gibson Dunn has appointed SoCal appellate lawyer Julian Poon as co-chair of its Appellate and Constitutional Law Practice Group, joining co-chairs Thomas Dupree and Allyson Ho. A former GDC Appellate Co-Chair, Mark Perry in D.C., will move to Weil, Gotshal to co-chair the appellate practice there.
