Today the Commission on Judicial Appointments presents
webcasts of two hearings. First, at 10 a.m. there will be a public hearing to consider the appointment of Judge Maurice Sanchez to 4/3, with witnesses Lisa Gibson, Supervising Judge Julie Palafox, and PJ O'Leary. Then at 10:45 there will be a hearing for Judge Laurie Earl for the 3d District, with witnesses Justice Slough, Presiding Judge Michael Bowman, and Judge Shama Mesiwala.
