Announcement 9/30/21: Core operations of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit will not be affected immediately by any shutdown of the federal government that may commence on October 1, 2021 should Congress fail to take the actions necessary to fund the government for FY 2022. Oral arguments on the calendar will go on as scheduled. All deadlines for court filings remain as scheduled. If at some point it does become necessary to limit essential activities, an announcement will be posted on this website.
