Are more associates arguing appeals?

The pandemic may have provided younger lawyers with more opportunities to argue appeals. The United States District Court for the Southern District of California is accepting applications for the 2022-2023 CJA Appellate Panel. Applications will be accepted beginning September 1, 2021 and ending on October 5, 2021 for the term beginning January 1, 2022 and expiring on December 31, 2023. All applications must be filed by midnight on October 5, 2021.
