Chief Justice Appoints Appellate Justice to California Access to Justice Commission--California Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye on Thursday appointed Justice Jon B. Streeter to the California Access to Justice Commission for a two-year term starting July 1.
The commission’s 31 members are appointed by the Governor, the Chief Justice of California, the Judicial Council of California, the Attorney General of California, the President Pro Tem of the California State Senate, the Speaker of the California State Assembly, and representatives of lawyers’ organizations, business, labor, and other stakeholders in the courts.
