The Commission on Judicial
Performance has ordered the removal of Justice Jeffrey Johnson from the 2nd
District Court of Appeal following accusations of sexual misconduct by 17
women. This is the first time in modern history that a court of appeal
justice has been removed. Johnson can appeal the ruling to the California
Supreme Court.
