3d DCA on Telephonic Argument

The 3d District has posted:
Guidelines for Telephonic Oral Argument
1. Please be conscious of the need for clarity, speak clearly and enunciate.
2. Please speak a little more slowly and pause to allow an opportunity for the court to ask questions.
3. Please try not to interrupt other speakers.
4. Please use a landline if possible because they typically facilitate better two-way communication.
5. If you are on a cell phone, please select an area with a good WIFI connection and do not move around unnecessarily.
6. Please test your equipment prior to oral argument. Use the device that produces the best sound quality for your voice and consider using a headphone with a microphone with your device.
7. Please speak directly into the mouthpiece of the phone or microphone.
8. Please do not put your phone on speaker phone.
9. Please try to eliminate outside noise, e.g., papers, clicking pens, dogs, children.
10. Please remember this is a court proceeding and is to be treated as such.
