In light of the concerns about community spread of the COVID-19 virus throughout the Circuit, the Court has cancelled its en banc hearings and all non-case related meetings scheduled for the week of March 9th. At the discretion of the three-judge panels, there may be additional cancellations for next week as well.
At this time, all scheduled oral argument hearings in all locations will go forward unless an order is issued to the contrary in a specific case. Counsel who wish to appear remotely for any hearing may file a motion in that case for such relief.
We will be assessing the situation early next week and we will post a notice here concerning additional cancellations and/or changes in scheduling or overall operations.
Also: The Appellate Advocacy CLE Program in Seattle has been postponed in light of concerns about COVID-19. It will be rescheduled at a later date to be determined.
