Cantil-Sakauye said yesterday: “Judge Schiavelli earned the respect and admiration of many lawyers and judges having served on the state and federal bench, and on Judicial Council advisory committees. He was always warm and welcoming company at the Italian American Lawyers Association’s Annual Supreme Court Night. His commanding and charismatic leadership energized many Los Angeles bar associations and organizations—his big personality will be sorely missed.”
The DJ has George P. Schiavelli 1948-2019 -- Friends and colleagues who worked with him at ADR Services Inc. before his death last Wednesday at 71 said despite having to endure old football injuries, Schiavelli was always full of energy and enthusiasm.
