More appellate sanctions

4/3 imposes appellate sanctions for a partially frivolous appeal here (don't miss the addendum):

We conclude the motion should be granted on the grounds the appeal is partially frivolous and Vu and her counsel committed unreasonable violations of the California Rules of Court. Based on the evidence submitted by Valle and his counsel, we order sanctions in the amount of $6,445.25 against Vu and her appellate counsel jointly and severally.
