APJ Lui had wrote a piece for the DJ on April 4 explaining that on April 17 the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association will celebrate its 44th Anniversary at the Bonaventure Hotel. One of SCCLA's founding fathers was PJ Gilbert and the time has come to recognize that fact by presenting him with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
