$26K in appellate sanctions

Last Friday 1/5 imposed appellate sanctions for the pursuit of a frivolous anti-SLAPP appeal in the sum of $20K (payable to respondent) and an additional $6K to the Court of Appeal. Oh, and appellant was declared a vexatious litigant too. See the gory details here.
