KFF for October 17

On October 17 KFF will screen the pilot episode of The Last Tycoon. You can rsvp here.

The Last Tycoon draws its inspiration from an unfinished, posthumously published novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Set during the Great Depression, this drama series tells the story of young Hollywood film producer Monroe Stahr (Matt Bomer). Driven by ambition, Stahr battles his boss Pat Brady (Kelsey Grammer) for control of their studio. But as Stahr’s personal life inevitably begins to suffer, he’s forced to confront the increasingly steep price of such a struggle.
