In “Being Good Lawyers: A Relational Approach to Law Practice,” a paper written by Eli Wald, a law professor at the University of Denver, and Russell G. Pearce, a law professor at Fordham University, the attorneys define a law practice as one that should not be seen as merely a business or profession, but one that is inextricable from public service.
