Appellate Boutique Opens San Francisco Office: Today's DJ reports that appellate boutique Greines, Martin, Stein & Richland is opening its first office outside of Los Angeles by expanding into San Francisco. Laurie Hepler (formerly head of the appellate group at Carroll, Burdick & McDonough, which merged into Squire Patton Boggs this year) will lead the office.
And speaking of GMSR, the firm won a CLAY award for its win in the Supreme Court in Estate of Duke. See DJ insert CLAY Awards: Appellate Practice: Demonstrating that one can reform any legal document shown to constitute a mistake.
