Commission Confirms Appointment to Supreme Court Ms. Leondra R. KrugerSAN FRANCISCO—Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye, Chair of the Commission on Judicial Appointments, announced that the commission today confirmed the appointment of Ms. Leondra R. Kruger to the Supreme Court of California by Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr. She will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Associate Justice Joyce L. Kennard. The appointment was approved by a unanimous vote at the public hearing held in the Supreme Court Courtroom in the Ronald M. George State Office Complex, Earl Warren Building, 350 McAllister Street, Fourth Floor, San Francisco.
