Federal Court Stats released! Hooray!

Oh boy! Federal court management statistics have just been released, including statistical profiles for each of the 12 U.S. courts of appeals for the fiscal year ending September 30.
Why do you care? Because these stats help answer pesky questions like "how long will my appeal take?"
The latest figures show that the median time from notice of appeal to final disposition in the 9th Circuit is down to 15.3 months (yes, this is an improvement over years 2007-2011) and places the 9th Circuit among the Circuits as .... last in this category.
