Denying Depublication

At the Lectern has an interesting analysis of a common phenomenon:  what does it mean when the California Supreme Court denies a request to depublish a Court of Appeal opinion?  Is that tacit approval of the decision?  Or is it purely procedural?  I'm not going to weigh in, but you can check out their conclusion here.
