President Obama has nominated U.S. District Court Judge Mary Murguia (D. Ariz) to serve on the Ninth Circuit.
Judge Murguia is a former Director of the Executive Office for United States Attorneys, as well as a former federal and local prosecutor. She was the first Latina to serve on the federal bench in Arizona.
