The California Supreme Court extended its thanks to the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers for its insightful amicus curiae brief in Brown.
It stated in footnote 10, "The amicus curiae brief filed in this court by the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers has been of great assistance in resolving the issues presented by this case."
