Goodbye Jason's, Hello VLVT

For about two years, the OCBA Appellate Law section had its monthly meetings at Jason's Downtown Restaurant.  Ahh, the memories . . . bad acoustics, backlit speakers, kitchen noise . . . .  Oh well.  They served rolls with real butter and always offered that strange chocolate raspberry cake for dessert.  So at least there was that.

The App Section has moved on to new digs at McCormick and Schmicks, where the speakers can be seen AND heard and the iced tea flows freely.

I just walked past Jason's today.  Apparently, it's moved on, too. 

While we may miss Jason's on some level -- some deep, almost subterranean level -- we can take solice in the fact that "Gay Nightlife in OC has a new FEEL!"
