The 2017 Annual Report for the Ninth Circuit is now available!The Court reports that it has reduced its pending caseload and case processing times. The chart on page 44 shows that the median time from a notice of appeal to a decision dropped from 15.2 months to 13 months. The median time for a decision after oral argument was 1.2 months and only 6 days for cases submitted without argument.
