2d DCA public hearing re retired Annuitants

The Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District, will hold a public meeting at the location, date, and time stated below for the purpose of considering the appointments of retired annuitants to fill critically needed positions as authorized by Government Code sections 7522.56(f)(1) and 21224(a). Court of Appeal Courtroom 300 S. Spring Street, 3rd Floor Los Angeles, CA 90013 Date: February 25, 2025 Time: 11:00 a.m.  Public comment is accepted for this meeting. Written comments must be received by no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025, and can be sent to: Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District 300 S. Spring Street, Room 2217 Second Floor, North Tower Los Angeles, CA 90013 Attention: Eva McClintock, Clerk/Executive Officer. Written comments must include the speaker’s name, occupation, and (if applicable) the name of the entity that the speaker represents. The speaker’s contact information (email address, telephone number, and mailing address) must also be included. Time is reserved for public comment at the beginning of the meeting, and the amount of time allocated for each speaker will not exceed five minutes.

Resolutions to approve the appointments of Leslie Dery and Michael Egan as retired annuitants to fill critically needed Senior Appellate Court Attorney positions within the 180-day period after retirement, as authorized by Government Code sections 7522.56(f)(1) and 21224(a).
