Welcome, D.C. Circuit, to NextGen

Image result for d.c. circuit court of appealsToday the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals implements the NextGen e-filing system. The D.C. Circuit joins the 1st, 2d, 4th, 6th, 8th, 9th and 10th Circuits on this upgraded platform. The Federal Circuit should be upgrading soon too. The D.C. Circuit also issued a new policy on live audio streaming of oral arguments. The court has agreed to provide live audio streaming "upon request in an individual case if the panel assigned to the case approves."

Also of general interest from The Recorder: California Bar Exam Ends 3-Year Slide, As Nearly Half Pass July Sitting: "The percentage of prospective lawyers who passed California's July bar exam crept upward to 49.6 percent, ending a three-year skid in scores marked last year by the lowest pass rate—43 percent—in three decades."
