Appellate lawyers out and about

This week the DJ has a supplement on Labor & Employment, including profiles of "California's Top Labor and Employment Lawyers." Those specifically listing appellate expertise are Paul Cane (of Paul Hastings and counsel on the defense side in Harris v. City of Santa Monica), David deRubertis (counsel on the plaintiff's side in Harris), Kimberly Kralowec (blogging here, of course), Norm Pine (who argued the plaintiff's side in Harris), and Felix Shafir (Horvitz & Levy).

How to make a big name for yourself?
Hop on a big case involving the Big Blue Bus!

This month's Los Angeles Lawyer magazine features articles by two appellate lawyers: incoming Barristers president (and reality-tv fan) Mark Kressel of H&L, and Edward Renwick (Can Task Billing be a Cure for the Unhappiest Job in America).
